"I have always believed that fashion was not only to make women more beautiful, but also to reassure them, give them confidence." -- Yves Saint Laurent
I love dressing up. It doesn't matter if I just go out to get coffee, lounge around the house or I attend social gatherings.. I always make sure that I carefully choose what I wear. It gives me that sense of excitement and joy that makes me feel good about myself. I think it doesn't really matter how expensive or cheap one's clothes are. It all goes down to how it makes us feel when we wear them. From lingerie to your t-shirts, to your skirts, to your handbags, to your shoes.. Every little detail should make you feel fabulous! Some people might not believe it, but hey! It definitely works for me. Caring about what I wear and how I look creates a wonderful effect on my perspective and my mood! Having said that, I would like to quote a distinguished stylist, fashion editor and designer:
"Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak" -- Rachel Zoe

Subtle MOD (60's inspired)

Shift Dress from Promod. Mulberry Alexa Bag in Black. T-Sandals Montego Bay Club from Payless Shoes.
Easy A-line shift dress to achieve the effortlessly chic look. I love 60's inspired outfits! A subtle hint of that era makes the look chic without looking like you're going to a retro costume party ;) As Nina Garcia puts it: A "just-in case" dress. As in just in case you are invited to a dinner party or out on an impromptu date and only have 5 minutes to get ready.
I like to wear it with sandals or flats in tropical weather and I'd wear knee-high boots with it in a much colder weather.
Smart and Sweet

Orange Blazer from Cotton On. Drop Earrings SM Accessories. Black Aztec Print Tank Top from People are People. 3D Jeans Freego. Leather Belt Jaeger. Ankle Booties from Kurt Geiger.
I love to play with looks like this. From daytime jobs to movie dates at night. Smart, sweet and chic! I take off the blazer during the day for a more casual look and put it on to move one notch smarter. Accessories play a big role as well especially if you want to transform from casual day to sophisticated night. They instantly change your look without getting to change outfits.
